Buttermilk & Carrot Soap

We believe simplicity is the best.  And that is what we were going for in this bar.

The beautiful natural orange color was created by puree carrots. Carrots have vitamin A and beta-carotene and antioxidants which provide the skin with extra protection from the damage caused by UV rays and environmental pollution. The beta-carotene in carrots help restore skin cells, which help prevent aging. Carrots are also good for eczema, dermatitis, acne and more.

We used buttermilk in this bar because it is high in lactic acid which is used in many skin care products for it’s ability to soften and brighten skin. Buttermilk also adds to the creaminess of the lather and the rich milk proteins leave a silky feeling on your skin.

Handcrafted with only 4 ingredients: Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, buttermilk and puree carrots. A truly natural, handmade soap.

This listing is for one bar of soap, weighing approx 3.75 to 4 oz ounces. Bars come wrapped and labeled with all ingredients used.

Note: Each bar is handmade and hand cut. Please allow for any slight variances in color and texture. These soaps have been cured for 4-6 weeks which provides a wonderful hard long lasting bar without any preservatives. Using a draining soap dish between uses will help to preserve this quality. The weight of each soap can vary because they are hand cut.
