Local Maker Helps Children in Need, Joins “The Caring Economy”
Local maker Jeanette Morgan is using her talents to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged children through a new movement called “The Caring Economy.” The Schertz-based maker this week unveiled her storefront on goimagine.com, joining thousands of like-minded artists around the country looking to kick-start the new marketplace that cares.

Jeanette has been selling handmade soaps online for over 20 years. By bringing her South Texas Naturals shop to Goimagine, which donates 100% of Profits from the marketplace to children’s charities, Jeanette is helping support a new mission-driven marketplace.

“When I learned about Goimagine I couldn’t wait to get involved,” said Jeanette from South Texas Naturals “It’s such an easy way to do good in the world. I was already selling at other online marketplaces. So doing it on a marketplace focused on helping children in need seems like a no brainer.”

Goimagine is the world’s first marketplace focused on company growth solely for the purpose of increasing charitable donations. By shifting the focus of profits from wealthy investors to providing social good Goimagine hopes to start bringing balance to a lopsided economy.

“We are very excited that Jeanette decided to join our growing community of handmade sellers across the country,” said Jon Lincoln, Founder of goimagine.com “Our hope is to prove that an online marketplace can be successful while also focusing on social responsibility. With makers like Jeanette, we will be able to do it.”

Goimagine has already donated to their first charity Horizons for Homeless Children in Boston and has plans to donate to children’s charities throughout the United States as it continues to grow.

“I can’t wait to see where this goes and I’m excited to be a part of such a great new movement,” says Jeanette. You can visit her shop at: https://goimagine.com/southtexasnaturals
